Falcon's skills in the field are matched only by his arrogance. Falcon is one of the best Joes of his time and he knows it. Falcon has had problems with insubordination and drug use in the past, but seems to have put those days behind him. Only time will tell if Falcon can get his act together once and for all.
Roadblock enlisted in the army and became a chef. However, he transfered to the heavy weapons division when he saw what was on the menu. Roadblock once compared cooking to setting up his machine gun. "It's like baking a cake, except instead of stacking layers, I'm stacking heavy weaponry."
Crazylegs is hardly normal. Of course, the same can be said about anyone who chooses to jump from planes and helicopters on a regular basis. Once a paratrooper, Crazylegs fancies himself an "assault specialist" these days, jumping off land, sea or air vehicles at odd times to get the jump on his enemies. Nobody quite understands how Crazylegs's mind works, and he uses that to his advantage.
Steeler was one of the original Joes when the organization began. He once drove his MOBAT (Mobile Battle Tank) fearlessly into battle, but is now a shadow of his former self. Rumor has it that he still has nightmares over a previous defeat, but some think the problem stems deeper.
Duke has commanded troops through the harshest conditions, led countless successful rescue missions and has led the Joe team to many victories. His courage is unmatched by any other and his willingness to go into any situation makes him one of the most reliable Joes on the team. His intense personality makes him hard to work with, but any Joe will tell you they feel better knowing Duke's watching their back.
Shockwave grew up on the mean streets of Detroit and learned how to survive in hostile environments. He gave a huge sigh of relief when he was transfered to Canada, though. He claims that he gets greater satisfaction protecting the people of Canada because they're "such nice people." Shockwave acts as a link between civilian police forces and the GI Joe team.
Dial-Tone is the top communications guy on the G.I Joe team. Not only because of his knack for radio equipment, but because he's pretty good with rifle as well. Dial-Tone can be a bit of a slacker, but when the going gets tough, he can be counted on to get the message across loud and clear.
Not much is known about Snake Eyes. He was severely injured in a helicopter explosion, scarring his face and damaging his vocal chords. He was a member of the original G.I Joe team, but for unknown reasons he deserted them.
Chuckles was the top private investigator in Arkansas until one day he went undercover as a soldier. When G.I Joe experts did a background check on him, they found out that they had an infiltrator in their ranks. Instead of throwing him in prison, they asked him to join the team. Lucky for them, Chuckles happily obliged.
Dropzone is the glue that keeps the otherwise reckless Sky Patrol together. While he's more than happy to pilot a helicopter or jet, Dropzone gets his adrenaline rush from doing a free fall into Cobra territory.
Porter is the newest member of the G.I Joe team. He has an idealistic thirst for adventure, but is yet to learn the price that comes with his job. While he specializes in wilderness survival, he lacks combat experience. The Joes sent him to Canada to help him get his feet wet.
Hardball went to Military College on a baseball scholarship. When he joined the G.I Joe team, he was quickly dismissed as another "gimmick" soldier with no talent. Hardball is on a mission to prove himself to the rest of the team. He hates Cobra almost as much as he hates the Designated Hitter rule.
Philip Thomas Stern graduated from West Point in the same class as Clayton Abernathy, also known as Hawk, former leader of the G.I Joe team. Stern quickly rose through the ranks of the military and earned a reputation as a tough disciplinarian with a mean streak like a badger. Stern demands respect from his soldiers and he expects results. He always gets both.
Jinx is one bad luck lady. Whenever she's around, things go wrong. As a student of the Blind Master, she mastered use of all five senses. While she prefers the use of ancient weapons, like the katana or the bow staff, she is not above more modern weapons like gas grenades or sub machine-guns.
